Just seems it because I'm so used to working on tiny little downdraughts on little Japanese 4 cylinders...

During the week my brother painted a section of the roof that didnt want to play earlier and on Saturday we gave it a quick wet sand and polish being careful to not put too much pressure on the " just dry" paint. As it turned out there is a small section near the gutter that is still soft so we left it alone to continue curing. We'll give it a few months of drying before another wet sand and polish.

This is the visor which still needs to be wet sanded and polished but you can see the flake (metalics) in this shot ....

Next weekend we start wet sanding the hi-fill to get the body into paint in the next few weeks.......

Thanks Bernie. Over the last few weeks have had a couple of steps forward and a few steps back

XF Falcon pedal and accelerator have now been installed. Electrics have all been checked. Unfortunately the paint on the roof lifted near the gutter so Im now paintstripping the lot and starting again.
