Post Meet my boy....Slim you might like this one.
Decided it might be time to show off my 'Boy' ~ 'Hercules'. 3 1/2 metres approx 12 -13 kg's. Was a very cute baby, no bigger than a pencil and thinner too. He looked so cute the other day lying on his warm shelf with his tail curled under I just had to take a photo.
Apologies to all non-reptile lovers :)

Wow! He's huge! How old Is he? I had a friend who had one the size of a pencil. Haven't seen it in a long time though, how fast do they grow?

He is approx 10 years old now. He's been fully grown for the last 3 years.
He is so placid and has a beautiful nature, very strong though. Promise I won't bring him with me if I come up for the get together Em.

All edible pets are kept outside his enclosure and little does he know that there is a cockatiel free range living on the top of his upright terrarium. Best we keep that a secret. :silent

Is he a coastal python :?: My nephew lived with us for a few months and he had a coastal , looked similar although his was only a metre long, beautiful animals he called his medusa and she loved to curl up around my hair and would rub herself all over me, pretty cool sensation! I looked into getting a diamond python but so far have not gone any further with it. Your boy is gorgeous! :thumbright

He is a brisbane carpet python. I bought him from a breeder and funny enough I got to see his mum and his dad. His father was AMAZING. Herc likes coming out into the garden with me in Summer, away from the other animals though. I wonder if he'd like a chook egg???

Given the size of him I would say he wouldn't mind both the chicken & the egg
