Post Mussie mums are at it again
Another Mussie mum is sitting.

Peas is a real sweetie, loves being a mum and does an absolutely fantastic job no matter what feathered children you give her to hatch and raise.

She fiercely defends them from egg until she doesn’t want them anymore at around 8 weeks of age.

Our other two girls; Pumpkin and Beans will always have a few eggs left behind that nearly made it to hatching, but not quite.

Not Peas – her eggs are either not fertile or they have hatched. :throw

Well she has decided its motherhood time, so 22 Guinea fowl eggs went into her well down-feathered nest last night.

She raised GFowl once before and I blame her for that lots’ extra “feraliness” and small displays of exceptional tolerance to the ducks and chooks.

So we will see how she goes with this little lot.
:D
