I've got 3 out of 25 laying at the moment...don't blame them with the frost though!

Wow nearly 12 months since some one posted in this thread - I guess a 110g egg is going to be har to beat but one of our girls is having a good go at it weve had 3 eggs in the last month come it around the 96Gram mark

Yep. Mine are mostly bantams and the two isa's .. we'll I think we were ripped off with them. He said they were point of lay but I think they'd lived their life laying and were sent to us for retirement LOL! Definitely need some new blood but need to re-build the coop before it falls over in the next stiff breeze.

Ok
I think I'm not the biggest here, but i've had a handful of welsumners churn out this size egg every day- must be half a dozen of them laying monsters every other or third day(lazy chookies :lol: )
Look here....
104.6 gms a FOUR yolker.....
Does not pack into an ordinary egg box.
It's pictured next to an 80 gm 'average' egg.
Ouch.... :shock:
