Em- geese don't take shit! I'm sure they'd give Millie a whallop. Not to mention they're much better swimmers than ole' drowned rat Mill-dog.

When our geese were 6 weeks old they scared the cats and dog poopless by 9 weeks they had bailed up the cow. Geese rock!

Post Re: Different Waterfowl Breeds
I was doing my yearly, sort out of my geese, sexing them, dividing them into their breed pens, etc and I got the greatest surprise of my life.

I have / had 4 great looking African ganders, the best great "boff" head, a growing dewlap and body thickening up, next 2 great head, dewlap getting there, bodies ok (time will tell if they get am better), then the last one, better "boff" head and body than the "best" male but dewlap very small, but he is only 12 months old, so will improve.

The surprise, he is not a he but a she, she is the only one I breed last year, and had not sexed her at all. The next best thing is that she is not related to my "best" male. So will make a great breeding partner for him.
