Post Re: Unusual Flowers
thats cool, never seen one in flower before, what i do know about them is they like to keep moist and you shouldnt tease these plants !!!! .... no , they wont cry if you poke at them but it actually makes them use unnessary energy without the food to compensate. so as much as you think its fun to see how many times you can poke them to see how fast there reaction is ...( am i sounding like someone who might have done this myself ??) PLEASE REFRAIN!!

or at least catch them a fly yourself and feed it occasionally!!

I am hanging out for it to flower AH! cammera ready!

I have notice dthat the flower stalks also follow the sun through out the day!

Thankyou aroura for catch the blowies but unless they are live the plant wont "eat" them.

Apparently it will close but it relies on the wrigling dying insect to trigger the digestive process. If it doesnt destect a live catch it will reopen its mouth!

The flowers are white w 5 petals, very simple, but very pretty little things.
