Post Mini Rockmelon - Pollination?
I am thinking I will need to pollinate my mini rockmelons? They are flowering now so I don't want to miss the boat.

Would it be the same deal as pumpkin? The male flower having the hump in the middle?

Yes that's absolutely correct. If you don't want to do all of them by hand you could get something that's flowering in a pot and put it near them. I put things that have bolted to seed like coriander, parsley etc in with my squash, zucchini and so on. That seems to help, but by all means hand pollinate as well if you the time.

Cheers greenfumb, I don't have anything else going to flower so looks like it will have to be done by hand this time.

I am looking into getting native bees as we speak :thumbright
