Post Green House
Good morning all.

I have just put together a small green house. I want to try preparing seeds to transplant into my veggie garden.

My question is should the green house go in the garage to protect the seeds from the cold or does it go outside to
get the sun?

I don't really want to be moving it in and out every day.

Thanks in advance :)

what sort of cover does it have? just shade cloth? I would leave it in the sun and throw an old blanket over it on cold nights.

It's floor to top plastic. Quite a sturdy little structure actually. $40 from bunnings with 4 shelves

I always had mine out in the sun. But we don't get as cold up here. Perhaps you could throw some shade cloth or hessian over it at night??

Didn't take long for my plastic to break down. Mine now just has the shade cloth wired onto it.

I have a wicking bed in my poly-carb house, gives me salad veg over the cold months without worrying about the odd sunny day when things would get too hot if they were in pots.

Wicking bed?

edit to add: I'm intrigued! I can't quite make out from the picture how you've done it.

Sorry I had to cut the pic down to get it to load!
If you look at the top left of the pic, the shade cloth is stapled to a hardwood frame. This holds a plastic liner at ground level.
The following link is where I got my instructions from

Foodie,

If you are using windows, open your photos with Pain (under Accessories), select Resize... then Pixels... And set the longest side to 600 pixels. This will resize the phot rather than cropping it.

Hope this heps.

Cheers,
Alan
